Three steps, no surprises

Booking a mobile notary shouldn’t be complicated, and it shouldn’t end with a bill you didn’t expect. Here’s exactly how a job goes.

Tell me what you need notarized

Call, text or send the form. Tell me the document and roughly where and when. You’ll get a straight answer on timing and on the full price before anyone commits.

I come to you

Home, office, hospital room, coffee shop, jobsite: anywhere in Citrus or Marion County. I arrive on time with my seal, journal and everything else the signing requires.

You sign, I seal, you’re done

I verify ID, witness the signatures, apply the seal and log the act. Most signings take ten to twenty minutes, and you keep your originals in hand when I leave.

Have these ready and nothing holds up your signing

The two things that slow a signing down are missing ID and missing witnesses, and both are easy to sort out before I pull into the driveway. If you’re unsure about any of it, ask me when you book. I’d rather answer the question than make a second trip.

How fast can you get to me?

Same-day service is often available, depending on where you are and what’s already on the schedule. Call or text and I’ll give you a real time rather than a guess. If I can’t get there today, I’ll say so and find you the next slot that works.

What does it cost?

Florida law caps the notarial fee at $10 per notarial act, and marriage solemnization at $30. Travel is billed separately and depends on distance. You’ll always get the complete number (notarial fee plus travel) in writing or over the phone before I drive out.

What do I need to have ready?

A valid, unexpired government photo ID for every person signing, the unsigned document, and all signers present together. Some documents also require two witnesses. If you’re not sure whether yours does, tell me what it is when you book and I’ll check.

Can you come to a hospital or nursing home?

Yes, and I do it regularly. Hospitals, rehab facilities, assisted living and hospice are all routine for me. The signer does need to be alert, aware of what they’re signing, and able to communicate that to me directly. That part isn’t negotiable under Florida law.

Do you notarize on weekends and after hours?

Yes. Evenings, weekends and holidays are normal working hours for a mobile notary. Most people need documents notarized around a job they can’t leave, which is exactly the problem this service exists to solve.

How far do you travel?

All of Citrus and Marion County door to door, and I regularly cross into neighboring Hernando County. If you’re just outside the list, call anyway. I almost certainly still come.
